Seat Bases

The seat is only half of the installation. The base determines how the seat mounts, how it swivels or locks, and how much space it takes in the saloon – and it is part of what your approval authority signs off. Tell us the vehicle and the layout and we will recommend the combination.

The base is part of your approval submission

A seat is never approved in isolation. Once it is mounted, what matters is the strength of the whole system – floor, base, seat and belt together – and that is tested in your vehicle, on your floor, and signed off by the approval authority in the country of registration.

Ask us early. We will tell you which base suits the layout and supply what you need for the submission.

Testing and approvals

Talk to us about the combination

Seat, base and belt are specified together. Tell us the vehicle, the layout and how the crew works and we will recommend the right combination rather than leaving you to work it out from a parts list.
