Armrests

An armrest is a small decision that the crew lives with for twelve hours at a time. Arms are supplied left or right, so they can be fitted on one side only where the other side needs to stay clear for access.

The options

  • Standard vac-form armrest for EVS ambulance seats

    Standard vac-form armrest

    ARLHV (left) · ARRHV (right)

The one most people specify, and the one that matches our seamless range. Vac-formed in the same material as the seat and finished in the same colour, so it wipes down exactly as the seat does and adds no seam.

    Fits: 1750, 1760, 1780, 1780E, 1850, 1860, 1880

    Most specified

  • Standard sewn armrest for EVS ambulance seats

    Standard sewn armrest

    ARLHS (left) · ARRHS (right)

Stitched vinyl, colour-matched to the seat. This is the arm for the sewn seats rather than the seamless ones.

    Fits: 1730, 1740, 1770, 1770E, 1800, 1830, 1870, 1900, 1900R, 2000, 2000R

  • Executive sewn armrest for EVS ambulance seats

    Executive sewn armrest

    ARLHS1900 (left) · ARRHS1900 (right)

The most comfortable arm in the range, made for the executive seats. Sewn vinyl matched to the seat, and available two-toned if you want the contrast.

    Fits: 1900, 1900R, 2000, 2000R

  • Moulded armrest for EVS ambulance seats

    Moulded armrest

    ARPML (left) · ARPMR (right)

Moulded foam, and the most economical option. Fits the widest range of seats, but is made in black only — so it will not colour-match the seat.

Fits: Most models, sewn and seamless

Choosing between them

For an ambulance we would normally recommend the vac-form arm on a seamless seat. It is the only combination that keeps the whole seating surface seamless: a sewn arm on a seamless seat reintroduces exactly the stitched seam the seat was specified to avoid, right where a hand rests.

The moulded arm is the economical choice and fits almost everything, but it comes in black only, so it will stand out against a coloured seat.
